Kamal Haasan pays respects to the soldiers of World War I

Kollywood stars have always extended their voice and support for Indian Army and the Soldiers. They have organized many cultural events in the past to raise funds for the same. This time, they have done something even better in remembrance of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in World War I. This is both a tribute and also an environment friendly activity.
Being the Centenary Year (1914-1918), Padma Bhushan Dr. Kamal Haasan planted a Sapling along with "Living Memorial" The Pulse Foundation in remembrance of our 74,187 Indian Soldiers who Sacrificed their lives in World War I.
Sachin Tendulkar, A.R. Rahman, Jayam Ravi, R Sarath Kumar, Yuvanshankar Raja, Vivek, Y Gee Mahendran, Thalaivasal Vijay, Premgi Amaren, Imman Annachi and Lakshmy Ramakrishnan also planted a sapling each in remembrance of the 74,187 Soldiers who Sacrificed their lives in World War I.
