Kamal Haasan asked to postpone ‘Uttama Villain’ release

Millions of film lovers all over India are currently awaiting the release of Kamal Haasan’s new movie, ‘Uttama Villain’. The film features Kamal Haasan in various get ups, and this has raised the expectations about the movie sky high. The film was expected to hit the theaters on February 2015, but now, Kamal Haasan has asked the producer of the film to extend the release.
As per latest updates, Kamal Haasan has asked Lingusamy not to release the movie in February and March. As per Kamal, these months are exam seasons, and this may drastically affect the collection of the movie.
The music of the film is composed by M Ghibran. Sony Music India has acquired the audio rights of the movie.
‘Uttama Villain’ is directed by Ramesh Aravind. Apart from Kamal Haasan, the film also stars Jayaram, K Vishwanath, K Balachander, Andreah, Pooja Kumar and Nasser in the lead roles.
The script of the film is written by Kamal Haasan himself. Eros International will distribute the movies in Indian theaters.
In the meantime, Kamal Haasan has also completed the shooting of other two films, ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ and ‘Papanasam’. Vishwaroopam 2 is directed by Kamal himself, and ‘Papanasam’ is crafted by Malayalam filmmaker Jeethu Joseph.
