It was announced that the audio launch function ofKamal Haasan’s most awaited Uttama Villain would be held on 1st March in Chennai. At the audio launch of highly anticipated Kamal Haasan-starrer Uttama Villain, Attakalari dance artists from Bangalore are expected to showcase their talents to the audiences with their live performance.
“Attakalari artists from Bangalore will perform live at the audio launch. It will be one of the biggest attractions of the event, which will take place at Trade Centre,” a source told IANS.
In the film, which is directed by Ramesh Arvind, Kamal plays a Theyyam dance artist of the 8th century. He also plays a modern-day superstar.“The makers are planning for a gala of an event with several live performances amidst a large gathering,” added the source.
Ramesh Aravind who debuts in Tamil as director with Uttama Villain has Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar, Nassar, Parvathy Nair and the late K. Balachander in prominent roles. Soon after the audio-launch, the date of the film’s release in theatres would be informed officially. Kamal Haasan is producing the film jointly with producer-director Lingusamy. Ghibran is the music director while Kamal Haasan has penned the screenplay and dialogues in the film. It may also be noted that Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2 and Papanasam are lined up for release in theatres after April.
