Gautami is back

Gautami, the talented life partner of Kamal Haasan who has previously been in scores of films in Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam and Hindi, is back with the Tamil-Hindi film Papanasam a remake of the Malyalam Drishyam.
Gautami had last appeared in sasanamam (2006) and was also seen in several Hindi films like Pyar Hua Chori Chori and Trimurti. About Gautami’s decision to return with this film Kamal Haasan says, “It’s a family subject and Gautami liked it. We’ve already completed 50 per cent of the film.” He says Papanasam is a parable of our times. “This film shows what it takes  for a simple family man  I play a cable operator to break the law when pushed into a corner.”
