The team of Shamitabh is organising a concert to celebrate legendary music composer Ilayaraja's 1000-film run..
Amitabh Bachchan will perform live to the Piddly track while Dhanush will croon some of Ilaiyaraaja's other hits. Said Balki, "I really wanted to do something for Ilaiyaraaja who has composed the songs for my film too. One thousand films is no joke! It truly is a lot of films! And we have to celebrate the milestone. And despite a last minute request, I'm told both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are expected to show up at the concert."
