It's been nearly six years since Shruti Haasan made her acting debut and she has carved a niche for herself in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi cinema. Yet the shadow of her illustrious father Kamal Haasan looms large on her wherever she goes. She finds herself answering a question or two about her dad all the time.
"Every time someone meets me, the first thing they ask me is — how's your father doing? And then there are other questions like — how does he feel about you?," confesses Shruti laughing. And every time she admits to struggle to answer the question. "Most of the times, I am lost for words when faced with questions about my dad. The only reply I used to give is — I don't know. Ask him," says Shruti.
