Rajinikanth-starrer "Lingaa" continues to rock the overseas box office with its impressive performance. "Lingaa" took huge openings on the first day and has managed to sustain its momentum in the first weekend despite getting mixed reviews from critics and audience.
The action drama film has beaten the total collection of Kamal Haasan's "Vishwaroopam" at the United States box office. "Lingaa" has minted more than $1.3 million and has emerged as the all-time second highest grossing Tamil film in the US.

After the fantastic performance in the first weekend, "Lingaa" witnessed a drop in its collections on Monday. While its performance in Tamil Nadu has been decent, it did poor business in several areas outside the state.
